“Just as in the grand illusion of theater and opera,
walls are the background of your home and an important part
of the total atmosphere.”
Zdravko
Terziev

Bulgarian born designer
Zdravko Terziev studied art in Sofia, Bulgaria and at the
Academy of Art in Stuttgart, Germany. He worked as a set
designer in theaters and opera houses throughout Europe.
He came to San Francisco in 1989 and later moved to Marin
County where he continues to reside. He is fluent in four languages, including English.
In Spring 2003 he began exploring the potential of a three-dimensional
design pattern for walls, inspired by the culinary charm of
pastry design. The results are an incredibly elegant new technique
he calls wall flowering.
Question: How on earth do you say Zdravko?
Answer: It’s
not too hard. Say Straav – ko.
